Back to Our First Love Pt. 3: Established in Love (Wi-Ne-Ma Family Camp 2024)
In chapter 3, Paul casts his vision for the role of the church in the world. But it's not the vision we normally adopt today Paul does not see the church as a "good influence" on the nations; he doesn't say that we are meant to make the world a better place or teach the nations to be a little kinder and more just. Paul sees the church itself as God's agent for good, and he believes that God orchestrates the nations to serve the mission of the church--not the other way around.
This is the third message from the 2024 Family Camp at Wi-Ne-Ma. These messages work through the book of Ephesians with a focus on recovering our "first love:" the love that is supposed to unite Christians in the midst of all of the distractions and divisions of our political climate.
